PAPER SURGERY????

Yes what I'm doing here is what I call " PAPER SURGERY". When I was sculpting this leg I made it a little to bulky. So I do what I do every time I mess up on something I fix it. A cut here a snip there a little tape and paper mache!  Once I get to a stopping point on Perfect Cell I will be preforming " PAPER SURGERY" on my SS2 Gohans Sculpture's face. So keep that in mind, because I think it would look a whole lot more like Gohan once I rebuilt it.

JUST ABOUT DONE WITH LEGS!!

I finally finished the thighs on Perfect Cell! YEAH!!! They just need to be Paper Mached. Here I am closing the two spots on the inner thighs that I haven't sculpted yet.

 As you can see I have built the thigh of Perfect Cell!

 the Back of his thigh.

 Before I started working on the right thigh this is how its starts.

 I give myself an idea of where I will be sculpting by scrunching paper and making 3D lines.

 I continue to sculpt with paper until the desired shape is formed.

 A look at the side before sculpting closed.

 And I know this thigh is to big so as soon as I paper mache most of it I will do what I call " Paper Surgery" to reduce th size to the same size as the left leg.

 and as it stands now. will update when more progress is done. Only planned to have one thigh done by now. :D

I DID MORE THAN I THOUGHT I'D DO!!!

Well as I promised I am going to be posting what i've done in the past week. I'm excited to say I went above and beyond my goal and am just a few spots being completely done with Perfect Cell's legs. I will be posting pics tonight after work so bookmark my blog and see what i've done so far. AS I PROMISED BEFORE MIDNIGHT!!!!

I paper mached this leg with glue the other leg i will be using a flour mixure. I have always used elmers glue for my sculptures but im going to try flour to see how it works and if i like it. After its drys it hardens and makes the sculpture stronger.

Todays Work: Cells Leg

Working on his leg as you can see, I took the tape and finished shaping the armor around his ankle so I can begin the paper macheing. NEXT: I'll be paper macheing all that I've sculpted so far. NOTE: Also ill be posting a vid of what I've done so far on the legs to get everyone caught up and up to date.

Perfect Cell: What I've done since I started!!

This is where it began:

1) Added the hangers for shape



 2) Took hangers and shaped the thighs.

3) Added more hangers.

 4) Applied masking tape for shape and to prepare for Paper Mache.

 5) Took paper crunched it up and taped it togeather and shaped it to the hanger around the ankle of his leg to give seperation from the armor and foot.
